Millennials are born in the mid-1990s to early 2000s as ending birth years. This generation is a super digital one as many may know. Millennials are a big audience that is definitely worth reaching for your business. Here are some building blocks you need to get started to reach the millennials.

The first step in reaching millennials is having a great website. Make sure your website is Mobile Friendly and loads fast. Mobile devices are projected to reach 79% of global internet use by the end of 2018. Your website should have a clean looking design and it needs to be easy for people to find your information.

2. Social Media

Everyone could have predicted this one would be on here but let me give you some value. 71% Of people are more likely to purchase from a brand they follow on social media. Millennials are always looking for ways to view their favorite companies services/ products, but what do millennials love as well? Convenience. So if your social media post pops right up on their screen while they are checking their Facebook status or Instagram feed your brand awareness will increase.

The reality is your more likely to find your ideal millennial customers through social media rather than a radio ad, billboard, or commercial.

      3. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Millennials value flexibility, accessibility, and usefulness. The easiest and quickest way for someone to find a product or service is to just simply grab their device and search for it on google.

By having your business at the top of Google you will be getting more traffic and customers to your website.

4. Content

Build your brand by knowing what you and your company stand for, and make sure your message to your audience is consistent. Be passionate about it because if your not millennials will see right through it.

Another thing to remember is quality over quantity. You do not want your audience to feel like they are getting spammed. Make sure you are tracking engagement with your posts so you can better tell how often to post.
